Last term we also took inspiration from the work of potters in West Africa to give us ideas for large coil pots.  The results have been amazing and our students have grown in confidence.

Our potter’s wheel  is now a permanent feature in the class, which has given rise to a lot of excitement and entertainment.

This one day course for teachers was a fantastic success.  An action packed day full of hands on experience and practical advice specifically aimed at the classroom environment.  Teachers worked individually and in pairs to produce a wide range of different finished pieces based on original African artwork and textiles.
